About Meat Netting

Meat netting is used to hold whole muscle products in shape during cooking, smoking, and curing. It provides the structural support that keeps boneless products from spreading, applies even compression for a uniform slice appearance, and in cotton configurations delivers the distinctive rope marked exterior that consumers associate with traditional quality deli products.

We offer elastic and non elastic netting in a wide range of shapes, types, and colors. Our netting selection is designed to give you the perfect combination of traditional product appearance and production efficiency, whether you are running a small artisan operation or a high volume line.

Using meat netting enables accurate, consistent product presentation both at the traditional deli counter and on the modern retail shelf. The product receives a proper, repeatable shape that is easy to work with throughout the manufacturing process. The right netting choice also helps optimize production, reducing waste, improving yield consistency, and making handling faster and more reliable.

Netting Types

Elastic Standard

The most widely used netting in the industry, available in several versions depending on mesh count, rubber thread strength, and heat resistance. A versatile choice for most whole muscle applications.

Stocking Net

A netting style designed to give products a distinctive rustic, old world appearance, imitating the look of traditional stocking wrapped smoked meats. Ideal for products where visual appeal and artisanal character are part of the brand.

Dense Netting

Dense netting has double the number of meshes around the circumference compared to standard netting, resulting in tighter, more uniform compression across the entire product surface. A good choice when precise shape formation and a finer exterior pattern are needed.

Cotton Netting

Traditional cotton twine netting, the classic choice for capicola, coppa, roast beef, and deli hams where the rope pattern impression on the exterior is part of the product's identity. Withstands high cooking and smoking temperatures and is typically removed after processing.
